Aplication of law in EU

Brief characteristics:
The aim of the subject is to assume the listener with the application mechanisms of the European law by EU authorities and national authorities of individual member states. The presumption is, that the student get knowledge in basics of the European Communities law and the EU law. The listener will be learnt about basic concepts and principles of organization structure of the European Communities and the European Union, system of law of the Communities and joint policies.

Communitary law as a part of the law that is applied in individual member states. Application of law by Communitary authorities - especially the European Commission, the European Court of Justice, the Court of First Instance and the Court of Auditors.

With the lecture there will be practice lessons with presentation and defence of seminary work about the most important parts of existing of the European Union, especially institutions, making law, joint policies of the EU and the application mechanisms of the European law. Practice lessons will be specialized to the most important acts of primary and secondary law of the European Union including the most important decisions of the European Court of Justice.
